Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Wedding Pilot (“we”), operated by Zayn Productions Ltd, handles your personal data. We are the data controller for the information described here. We follow UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

• Account & wedding details — your email, the couple's names, event dates and venues, and anything you add to your invite, tasks and budget.
• Guest details you upload — names, contact details and RSVP responses of the guests you invite.
• Vendor details — if you list a business, the information you submit.
• Technical data — basic logs needed to run and secure the service.
• Payment data — vendor subscriptions are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card details.

How we use it

• To create and host your invite, collect RSVPs, and run your planning tools.
• To send transactional email you'd expect — sign-in links, RSVP confirmations, task reminders and digests.
• To operate the vendor directory and take vendor payments.
• To keep the service secure and improve it.

Guests' data

When you upload guests, you are responsible for having a reasonable basis to share their details with us. We process that data on your behalf to run your RSVP and headcount tools, and we do not use it to market to your guests.

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors to run the service: Vercel (hosting), Upstash (database), Brevo (email), Stripe (vendor payments) and Twilio (admin notifications). We never sell your data. A member of our team can only view an individual wedding's data if the couple grants time-limited support access, which they can revoke at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep your wedding data while your account is active. You can delete your wedding at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and associated data by emailing us.

Your rights

You have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@weddingpilot.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
